Let's take a deeper look, shall we?

You know the song "When Love Sees You (Jesus)" by Mac Powell that I referred to earlier? Remember how I said that each verse referred to a story in the New Testament? Well, I was curious about what specific stories Powell touched base on, so I found them, and I'm going to share them with you because they are very inspiring stories. Take note, too, when you read these stories: God loves you unconditionally regardless of your sin. Our Heavenly Father doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

Blessed are you as you weep on your knees
With perfume and tears washing over My feet
Luke 7:36-50
And blessed are you, beggar, hopeless and blind
Calling for mercy when I'm passing by
Mark 10:46-52

Blessed are you, shaking your head
At two tiny fish and some bread
Matthew 14:13-21
And blessed are you as you tremble and wait
For the first stone thrown at your sinful disgrace...
Acts 7:54-60

Blessed are you, walking on waves
To find yourself sinking when you look away
Matthew 14:27-31
Blessed are you, leper, standing alone
The fear on their faces is all that you've known
Matthew 8:1-4

Blessed are you, lonely widow who gave
Your last shiny coin to Yahweh
Mark 12:41-44
Blessed are you with your silver and lies
Kissing the One who's saving your life
Matthew 26:14-16, 47-49

Be encouraged, brothers and sisters! We are sinners and are prone to wander, but God has His arms open for us to fall into them again.

God bless!
